The TN-300 Total Nitrogen Analyzer is an in-situ analytical device used for online monitoring of total nitrogen concentration in water bodies. It employs the color-changing acid spectrophotometry method, with a measurement range of 0 to 5 mg/L and a resolution of up to 0.001 mg/L. The device has an IP68 protection level and supports RS485 Modbus RTU communication. It can operate stably for a long time in various environments such as surface water, rivers, lakes, and coastal waters, and is suitable for unattended continuous water quality monitoring.

It is specifically designed for the continuous automatic determination of total nitrogen concentration in water bodies. The instrument employs the colorimetric acid spectrophotometry method. During the detection process, different forms of nitrogen compounds such as organic nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, and nitrite nitrogen in the water sample are decomposed and oxidized to nitrate nitrogen. Then, through a chemical reaction, they form colored compounds with characteristic absorption peaks. The absorbance changes of these compounds are detected by spectrophotometry, and the total nitrogen concentration value is calculated based on the standard curve. This method has high sensitivity and good repeatability, and can effectively meet the accuracy and stability requirements for in-situ online monitoring.
The instrument’s measurement range is from 0 to 5 mg/L, with a resolution of up to 0.001 mg/L and a measurement accuracy of 0.05 mg/L or ±10%. It is suitable for various water environment scenarios such as surface water, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, coastal waters, and estuaries. Through real-time monitoring of total nitrogen indicators, it can promptly grasp the trend of water body nutrient salt changes, providing reliable data basis for assessing eutrophication, warning of algal blooms, investigation of pollution sources, and ecological environment management.
The TN-300 is powered by 24VDC and supports the RS485 Modbus RTU communication protocol.
